MIMOZ has been designed for PC and Laptops only. Tablets connected to a keyboard and mouse/trackpad may also work.
MIMOZ uses the basic WASD controls you see in most other games.
W=Up
A=Left
S=Down
D=Right
You can also chat with other players in the same server as you by clicking on the grey chat box in the top right, underneath the white messages box. You can also press 't' on your keyboard to instantly start typing. Whilst you are typing, you may not be able to move. To move again, simple click on nothing (no other buttons). To send a message you typed, press the enter key on your keyboard.
To report a player in the server, click the blue 'REPORT' button in the top left.
To reset/respawn your character, click the orange 'RESET' button in the top left.
To reset/respawn your character, click the red 'LEAVE' button in the top left.
Each player has a healthbar which displays their health. When a player's health reaches 0, their character resets and respawns back at a spawn location.
The buttons do the following:
Save: Allows you to save your MIMOZ game (.MMZ file) on your computer.
Load: Allows you to load a MIMOZ game (.MMZ file) that you have on your computer.
Play Test: Allows you to play the MIMOZ game you've created. This will open a separate tab. Other players cannot join this play test mode.
New Asset: Places a new asset with default properties into the world. These values can be changed in the 'Properties' tab on the right side of the screen.
Toggle Scale+: This will expand the grid snap of assets, making each square have 16 (4x4) squares inside. This allows for more precise asset placement and scaling. Pressing it twice will disable it.
Help: This button takes you to the page you're on right now!
Back to Create: This button takes you back to the 'Create' page. This button does not open a new tab, so make sure you've saved your MIMOZ game onto your computer.
You can publish your MIMOZ game by going to mimoz.net/creategame/
You can update one of your preexisting MIMOZ games by going to mimoz.net/create
To move your camera, right-click and move your mouse.
To zoom your camera in and out, use your mouse' scrollwheel.
To select an asset, left-click on it.
To select multiple assets, left-click, hold and drag your mouse. A blue square will appear over the assets you will select. To end, halt the left-click.
To delete an asset, select it, then press the backspace button on your keyboard.
To scale an asset, left-click, hold and move your mouse on the orange squares around the sides of the asset.
To rotate an asset, left-click, hold and move your mouse on the blue square adjacent to the asset.
Children under 13 MUST sign up with a parent. All accounts created with a given birthday of under 13 years will have a 'Safe Lock' on their account, which restricts that account from seeing the forums, user chat messages, sending chat messages, etc.
Children under 18 should be supervised whilst playing MIMOZ. Our team moderates user-generated content, but we cannot 100% guarentee that there is no inappropriate content on the site. If you see any suspicious activity on the website or in a MIMOZ game, please press the 'REPORT' button, or find the username of the bad actor, go to mimoz.net/people/, search their username up, click on their profile and click the yellow report face above their bio.
